The Clydesdale Breeders Cup was a new feature of this year’s Grain Millers Harvest Showdown. The Cup is a new initiative, explained Delvin Szumutku one of the event’s organizers.

It is a family affair for this year’s recipient of the Farmer Recognition Award at the 29th annual Grain Millers Harvest Showdown in the city.

The Yorkton Regional High School Raiders football team is off to the provincial championship. A very close semi-final game last Saturday saw the Raiders come out victorious over the Greenall Griffins in Regina. The score was 24-22.

BUZINSKI - Mrs. Victoria Buzinski of Gorlitz, beloved wife of the late William Businski, peacefully entered eternal life on October 27, 2017 at her home.

GRIFFITH - Lloyd. 1946 - 2017. Mr. Lloyd McKinley Griffith passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Hospice in the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the age of 70 years. Lloyd was born in Yorkton, SK on December 6, 1946.
