W ith the calendar turning to September students across the city and region are heading back to school.

The City will be moving forward with three projects at Riverside Terrace. The projects were approved at the regular meeting of Yorkton Council Monday.

A tender for pathway development approved in the 2017 City of Yorkton budget was approved Monday. “The City of Yorkton 2017 Capital Budget included pathway construction on Mayhew Avenue and Dracup Avenue.

The end of August in Yorkton means one thing - football season. Saturday marked the beginning of the season for several Yorkton teams as there were three games played at Century Field.

PACHAL - Mrs. Helen Pachal, of Melville, formerly Yorkton, beloved wife of the late Ed Pachal passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the age of 86.
