Yorkton This Week

Everett Ironside has been reappointed to the Calder Housing Authority Board of Directors. Other members of the board of directors are Frank Becker, Barbara Albert, James Fustey and Sharon Sobkow. Ironside is chairperson.

After a pair of losses the Yorkton Cardinals got back to winning in Western Major Baseball League action Monday. The Weyburn Beavers were at Jubilee Park where Yorkton jumped out to an early lead with three runs in the second inning.

YUFC U14 Boys finished their season on a high note this past weekend with the ultimate win: Gold at Provincials in Lloydminster on the Canada Day long weekend. This marks the end of a successful season for the team coached by Michael Chapman.
