Yorkton This Week

Alvin Warcomika of Yorkton, formerly of the Willowbrook district, passed away on June 29, 2016 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 63 years.

Ewald Jacob Liebrecht was born on September 11, 1932, on the family farm in the Stornoway-Rhein District of Saskatchewan, the son of George and Elizabeth (nee Mehling). He was baptized on October 9, 1932 at the Stornoway Lutheran Church by Pastor K.

Violet Barbara Aschim (nee Zadorozny) was born at Hubbard, SK on January 24, 1935, one of nine children born to William and Dora Zadorozny. The family moved to Nipawin, SK in 1941, where Violet attended school and church.

Ed Yeroschak passed away peacefully from this life on the evening of June 25, 2016 at Jowsey House in Yorkton. He was comforted and supported by his family during his last days. Ed was born in Grandview, MB October 15, 1944.

On Friday, June 24, 2016 with family by his side, Peter Butz passed away at the Yorkton Regional Hospital. He was 88 years of age. Peter was born at MacNutt, SK on January 26, 1928 to Reifta and Joseph Butz.
