The Parkland Minor Baseball League hosted a baseball clinic for all mosquito aged baseball players from the Parkland League. The Clinic was conducted by the Western Major Baseball League Yorkton Cardinals.

Yorkton United Football Club hosted a community soccer event June 25 at Sacred Heart High School for U8 and U11 teams. The popularity of soccer in Yorkton parallels the growth of the sport nationwide. Soccer now surpasses even hockey in enrollment.
