Yorkton This Week

The newly-crowned Miss Teen Yorkton World will be one of nine contestants representing Saskatchewan at the Miss Teen Canada World pageant in Toronto this July.

Saskatchewan's population has hit an all-time high of 1,052,050 as of January 1, 2011 according to the latest figures released today by Statistics Canada.

Last week's Youth Speak 2011 event brought together more than 250 local young people to discuss the problems facing Yorkton as the city's youth see them.

Each month a male and a female student is selected as the SHHS Saint of the Month. Saint of the Month students are nominated by staff and students of SHHS.
