Yorkton This Week

Despite losing upwards of seven players to Junior hockey at the end of last season, the Yorkton AAA Harvest hockey team continues to play like they are destined to achieve good things.

The AA Bantam Terriers brought their year to an end this past weekend with two home games and a road game. Head coach Damon Kustra said he is disappointed with the first half of the season.

On Monday December 15th, the YRHS hosted its annual Big Buck Night for students and staff. "We had 16 participates take part this year" says teacher Darren Wandy.

The Yorkton Regional High School is scheduled to host their third basketball tournament of the season Jan. 7-8 when the Gr. 9 boys team gets ready for action on their home court.
