Some vaccine appointments rescheduled

On the Easter weekend 2019, a fire damaged an under-construction classroom building at Parkland College's Emergency Services Training Site, east of Melville. The charred structure had to be demolished and a new facility was built in its place.

Good Friday Walks are being planned by minesterial associations in Moosomin and Rocanville on Friday, April 2nd. In Moosomin, the walk will begin at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church at Main Street and Windover Avenue at 9:00 am on Friday, April 2nd.

Yorkton Council approved the fees for Deer Park Municipal Golf Course for 2021, at its regular meeting.

The City of Yorkton Operating and Capital Budgets for 2021 which were introduced to the public at the regular meeting of Yorkton Council March 15, were given final approval at the regular meeting this Monday.

As a result of the March 2021 winter storm Saskatchewan RCMP are advising motorists to check the highway conditions before travelling.

An additional 6,104 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 179,800.

Every Saturday morning, kids from the Yorkton area are logging onto Zoom to take part in art lessons. These lessons are being presented by the Dean Godfrey Art Gallery and being taught by Shirley Hart and her daughter.
