The University of Manitoba Senate passed a motion on Nov. 4 to modify graduation requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degrees in the Faculty of Arts to include an Indigenous Content requirement effective next Sept. 1.

A fundraiser has been set up to find who is responsible for killing a white cow moose, which is considered sacred in Indigenous culture. During the week of Oct. 26, two cow moose were shot and harvested on Nova Road, near Foleyet.

Province announces 235 new cases Monday

On Nov. 19, the Indian Head Detachment received a report of a break and enter and theft in the rural area near Indian Head. The incident occurred to a site where some construction was being conducted and was about one mile southwest of Indian Head.
