The Yorkton Film Festival wasn’t going to let a pandemic get in the way of their celebration of the best short film in Canada.

On June 16, 2020 an eastbound vehicle was stopped on Highway #16 near Maidstone for a driver's licence, registration and sobriety check. A subsequent search of the vehicle occurred and one kilogram of cocaine was located.

There are eight new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan to report on June 19, 2020, bringing the provincial total to 716. Seven of the new cases are in the Far North region and one is in the Saskatoon region.
