SASKATOON – Two men arrested following a shooting in April in Saskatoon where a woman was injured were back in court.
Hunter Eric Harold Matte, 21, and Jesse Jarrett Magnus, 26, were in court last week and have show cause hearings for June 22 and June 28 respectively.
The two were arrested after officers from the Saskatoon Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Unit, Tactical Support Unit, Canine Unit, and Patrol officers teamed up to raid a home in the 200 block of Avenue S South around 8:45 p.m. May 3.
Matte is charged with eight firearms-related offences and aggravated assault. Magnus is charged with a firearms offence and aggravated assault.
