Break and enter suspect arrested in basement of Saskatoon home

Saskatoon police found a man matching the suspect description in the basement of the residence, along with three imitation firearms.

The man is charged with break and enter with a weapon, assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon, and using a firearm in the commission of an offence. 

SASKATOON – A 44-year-old man has been arrested after police responded to a report of a break and enter yesterday evening. 

At approximately 7:30 p.m., May 23, Saskatoon Police Service patrol officers responded to a home in the 1400 block of Arlington Avenue, after it was reported that a man had entered a residence with a rifle before leaving without incident. When police arrived, they found a man matching the suspect description in the basement of the residence, along with three imitation firearms. 

He is charged with break and enter with a weapon, assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon, and using a firearm in the commission of an offence.
