Cut Knife RCMP charge Little Pine man with weapons, drug offences

On Sept. 18, Cut Knife RCMP located and seized an air rifle, ammunition, approximately six grams of suspected cocaine, approximately four grams of suspected methamphetamine and drug trafficking paraphernalia at the residence.

CUT KNIFE – RCMP have charged a 41-year-old man with drug trafficking and firearms offences after executing a search warrant on Little Pine First Nation Monday morning.

On Sept. 18, Cut Knife RCMP located and seized an air rifle, ammunition, approximately six grams of suspected cocaine, approximately four grams of suspected methamphetamine and drug trafficking paraphernalia at the residence.

Three men were arrested outside the home without incident. Two were released without charges but Preston Wahobin was charged with possession of a firearm when knowing its possession is unauthorized, unsafe storage of a firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, failing to comply with a release condition, and two counts of trafficking cocaine.  

Wahobin is scheduled to appear in North Battleford Provincial Court on Sept. 19.
