Nipawin RCMP charge two men after boat stolen

Police did patrols and found the boat at a home on Tamarac Street.

Police say that they got a report at about 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 5 of the theft from a residence on 1st Street West in Nipawin. Witnesses provided a description of the truck that took the boat.

NIPAWIN – Two men were arrested following an investigation by Nipawin RCMP into the theft of a boat and trailer.

Police say that they got a report at about 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 5 of the theft from a residence on 1st Street West in Nipawin. Witnesses provided a description of the truck that took the boat.

Police did patrols and the truck and boat were located at a home on Tamarac Street. A firearm was found in the vehicle along with a number of other items, some of which had been reported as stolen in the Nipawin area in the weeks previous.

Both men have been charged with theft over $5,000, and weapons-related offences.  

Police say their investigation is ongoing. As items seized during this investigation are processed, victims who have reported stolen items will be contacted if their property is located.
