P. A. police seize weapons, drugs, charge man with trafficking. cocaine

The man was arrested at a west hill business for possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.

Police seized a loaded .45 handgun, a modified .22 rifle with ammunition, a .308 rifle with ammunition, 380 grams of methamphetamine, 153 grams of cocaine, body armor and further evidence of drug trafficking. 

PRINCE ALBERT – Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team and Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team seized weapons and drugs and arrested 34-year-old Jean Pascal Deraspre. He was arrested at a west hill business for possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.  

Following the arrest, investigators executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a home in the west hill area and seized a loaded .45 handgun, a modified .22 rifle with ammunition, a .308 rifle with ammunition, 380 grams of methamphetamine, 153 grams of cocaine, body armor and further evidence of drug trafficking.  Deraspre was then charged with several firearms related offences.

He appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Nov. 16.
