Regina man hit by vehicle, in hospital with life-threatening injuries

Regina Police Service says that at about 9 p.m. on Nov. 18, they got a report that a vehicle hit a pedestrian near the intersection of 9th Avenue and Albert Street.

REGINA – A man in his thirties is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a vehicle on Saturday.

Regina Police Service says that at about 9 p.m. on Nov. 18, they got a report that a vehicle hit a pedestrian near the intersection of 9th Avenue and Albert Street. When police arrived on scene, they found a man in his thirties who appeared to have be struck by a vehicle. The man was transported to the hospital by EMS where he remains with serious, life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle involved, remained on scene.  In order to preserve potential evidence, traffic was shut down and members from the Forensic Identification Unit and Traffic Collision Investigators attended. The scene has since been cleared, say police.
