RPS seek tips on assault investigation

Police release description of suspect.

REGINA – Police are asking the public for any information that could help their investigation into an assault that happened on March 4.

Just before 3 a.m., police and EMS were called to a business in the 2300 block of Dewdney Avenue for an assault in progress.

“Early information suggested a male victim was assaulted by another male, who left before police arrived,” said RPS in a media release. “When police arrived they found the victim with injuries to his head and neck. He was taken to hospital by EMS for treatment.”

The male suspect is described as being about 25 years old with brown hair, black clothing and being of “large build”.
