Saskatoon police charge man after intimate partner stabbing incident

When officers arrived, they located the victim, a 29-year-old man with several cuts on his body.

At approximately 10:10 p.m. on April 27, Saskatoon police responded to reports of intimate partner violence in the 1000 Block of Aird Street.

SASKATOON – A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault in connection with a stabbing incident.

At approximately 10:10 p.m. on April 27, Saskatoon police responded to reports of intimate partner violence in the 1000 Block of Aird Street.

When officers arrived, they located the victim, a 29-year-old man with several cuts on his body. After entering an apartment suite, officers found the suspect tending to wounds on his hands.

On April 28 at approximately 2:40 p.m. officers were called to the Royal University Hospital regarding a stabbing victim. Upon arrival, it was found that it was the same 29-year-old man with a stab wound from the assault the night before. Officers are now working to amend the charges.
