Saskatoon police seize drugs, $56K cash, 4 vehicles and charge 3 men

The three-month investigation was into a group suspected of trafficking cocaine in a dial-a-dope operation.

Saskatoon Police police seized $56,070 cash, 26.06 grams of crack cocaine, a 2019 Ford F-150, a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, a 2017 BMW 440i, and a 2013 Dodge Journey.

SASKATOON – Saskatoon police have seized crack cocaine, four vehicles, and $56,070 in cash, and charged three men following a three-month investigation into drug trafficking activities of a street-level group in Saskatoon.

On May 4, the Saskatoon Police Service Drug and Tactical Support Units, with assistance from the Criminal Investigations Division, conducted enforcement action on a group suspected of trafficking cocaine in a dial-a-dope operation.

Two men were arrested at a business in the 3100 block of 8th Street East while an additional two men were arrested in the areas of Circle Drive near Idylwyld Drive North and Avenue P North near 23rd Street West.

After executing two search warrants and raiding two addresses in the 400 block of Hamm Lane and 900 block of Kristjanson Road, police seized $56,070 cash, 26.06 grams of crack cocaine, a 2019 Ford F-150, a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, a 2017 BMW 440i, and a 2013 Dodge Journey.

As a result, 28-year-old Jordan Corazza from Saskatoon, 26-year-old Mohammed Khan from Edmonton, Alta., and 21-year-old Jacob Taylor from Peachland, B.C. are collectively facing a combination of charges including trafficking in cocaine, possession for the purposes of trafficking, and possession of the proceeds of crime under/over $5,000. A 31-year-old man was arrested but later released without charges.
