Woman arrested for pointing fake firearm at passersby in Saskatoon

Police say that around 5 p.m. on March 30 patrol officers observed her pointing the firearm at passersby.

The woman had an imitation firearm and has been charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon.

SASKATOON – Police have arrested a 56-year-old woman after police say they saw her pointing a firearm at people on a sidewalk near 20 Street West and Ave. P South.

Police say that around 5 p.m. on March 30 patrol officers observed her pointing the firearm at passersby. They arrested her without incident and say she had an imitation firearm.

She has been charged with possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace and unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon.
