On Sept. 5, the Canora/Sturgis RCMP were dispatched to a harassment complaint in Canora. Police learned one business owner reported the neighboring business owner for harassing their customers.

On Sept. 11, police received a report about a suspicious vehicle and individual who allegedly approached a minor in the downtown core.

The incident is being investigated as a homicide.

If people receive a call from a fraudster, they should hang up immediately, and not provide any information to the caller, or respond to their request.
