Farooq Hassan Sheikh comes to the Regina Police Service most recently from the Alberta Sheriff’s Service.

Jesse Waldbillig has been arrested.

The driver was pronounced deceased by EMS at the scene.

Canora/Sturgis RCMP were dispatched to a report of a white SUV driving erratically on Highway 9. The driver admitted he had swerved slightly after dealing with his children in the back seat.

Thomas Gamble has been located, although police do not say where.

Swift Current Municipal and Rural Detachments and Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services assisted in this investigation.

After police stopped the vehicle, the driver sped away from the scene and began driving in an erratic manner. 

Lindsay Merasty and her children were last seen in Prince Albert on Nov. 22, however, information suggests she may be in British Columbia.

Police say a truck had been travelling northbound on Avenue H North when it was struck at a high rate of speed by the westbound SUV that failed to stop at a stop sign.

Faces charges of committing indecent act, sexual assault, sexual interference, making child porn, making available child porn, and possession of child porn.
