Despite recent rumours circulating in the community that Happy Charles has been found, authorities have confirmed that Happy Charles has not been located at this time.

Saskatoon police say three suspicious individuals were seen in the area between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2003.

Terrance Stonechild has been in custody since he was arrested following a police chase on Onion Lake Cree Nation in December 2022.

The police investigation determined that James Swift and a woman were travelling in a vehicle with three men when the vehicle stopped on a rural road and an altercation occurred.

There will be live entertainment including a K9 demonstration.

The RCMP investigation is concluded and they say based on evidence collected, officers have determined there was no criminality involved or risk to the public.

During the investigation, Lloydminster GIS executed a search warrant at a home in the area of 56 Ave and 22 Street Close. A second search warrant was also executed on a vehicle.

An 18-year-old man has been remanded into custody and will appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court July 13.

Accused is in custody on another matter.

The Weyburn Police Service responded to 76 calls for service during the period of July 3-9, resulting in a total of 12 charges.
