General Motors of Canada announced it had appointed Don’s Motors Ltd. as its dealer in Unity. Don Wildeman and Francis Zunti purchased the former Mack’s Motors building and car dealership business. Mack’s Motors moved to a new location on Highway 14 where they handled Massey Ferguson and J.I. Case Equipment lines.
Wilkie Legion Branch bid farewell to President Jack Fraser and his wife Donna. A corporal with the RCMP, Fraser was moving to Lanigan.
