Come on! From -30 to rain in 48 hours? Of course not.

Be careful what you wish for.

THE BATTLEFORDS — Update: Of course it didn't rain.

Original post: Tuesday, Environment Canada says areas of Saskatchewan can expect overnight lows of minus 30 to minus 35 with windchills in the -40's. And they were right.

Extreme wind chills began overnight Monday as an Arctic high brought much colder temperatures to the Prairies in the wake of the Alberta Clipper exiting the region.

Now, however, the Battlefords, Humboldt, Biggar and the Kindersley area are expecting above 0 temperatures and could be seeing rain Thursday night.

Welcome to Saskatchewan.
