Paramedics arrived on scene shortly after and transported the man to hospital with what were believed to be life-threatening injuries.

On Nov. 8, at around 12:33 a.m., the Saskatchewan Serious Incident Response Team (SIRT) received a notification from the Moose Jaw Police Service (MJPS) about a serious incident involving police. SIRT's civilian executive director accepted the notification and directed an investigation by SIRT. 

The vehicles involved in each collision were damaged, but none of the occupants were injured.
