A special crosswalk honouring veterans has become a permanent tribute and will be maintained by the Town of Battleford and volunteers.

Bjorkdale School held their annual Remembrance Day ceremony with over 100 in attendance.

The ceremony takes place on Saturday, Nov. 23, with the program beginning at 1 p.m. and concluding at 3:15 p.m. with the unveiling of the information boards and memorial plaque.
