The sound of power tools has been filling the air around the library and Moose Jaw Museum and Art Gallery (MJMAG), as artists have been transforming dead trees into creative artworks.

The MJPS received information recently about an unlicensed paving company working in Moose Jaw. The company was operating under multiple names, including “Hortons Paving and Masonry” and “Tartans Paving.”

Antonivka Ukrainian Catholic Church, built in 1906 and the first Ukrainian church in the area, was recently painted and renovated.

Cars, trucks and motorcycles of every age, shape and colour draw a crowd of enthusiasts to Provost Airport for annual races.

"We would spend money putting them up in hotels, supporting them in hotels until we come up for a plan for them. Now they will have a place to go to."

Division administration presented an updated capital budget during the August board meeting.

"To have only 46 per cent of our yearly expenses at the half-way mark is a good pace."
