Enbridge donates $10,000 to Windthorst Fire Department

Enbridge Pipelines Inc. is proud to support the community of Windthorst and their Fire Department with a donation of $10,000, through the Enbridge Safe Community Grant. The funds will be used towards the purchase of a new fire truck.

Enbridge Pipelines Inc. is proud to support the community of Windthorst and their Fire Department with a donation of $10,000, through the Enbridge Safe Community Grant. The funds will be used towards the purchase of a new fire truck. The cheque was presented to Colin Aikens, Fire Chief, a few weeks ago.
“We are pleased to support the Windthorst Fire Department because they help keep our community safe,” said Enbridge representative Les Scott, Public Affairs, Central Region.
The safety of the people who live and work in communities where Enbridge operates remains the company’s highest priority. That’s why Enbridge is proud to support organizations that are focused on community safety.
The Windthorst Fire Department provides protection to citizens in the area by providing prompt and professional emergency response.
"The Safe Community Program is a way for Enbridge to recognize the important contributions fire departments like Windthorst Fire Department make in our right-of-way communities," commented Scott.
