NORTH BATTLEFORD - According to a media advisory from the City of North Battleford Wednesday morning, the public is encouraged to exercise caution in a demolition area on the 1500 block of 100th Street.

On Tuesday, a crew consisting of several heavy-duty vehicles began removing debris and assisting with the demolition of an unsafe property on the 1400 block of 101st Street. A second property began being demolished at 1522-100th Street in North Battleford Wednesday morning.

The demolition is occurring mainly through the back alley on this derelict and unsafe property, so the City of North Battleford's director of protective services advises that there should not be a significant disruption to the flow of traffic on 100th Street, stated the city's release of Wednesday morning.

To assist with clean up, there will be some heavy-duty vehicles staged for a time on 100th Street in a way that it will not obstruct traffic lanes.

The city is asking pedestrians and motorists to be mindful of this work area until it is completed later in the day.
