$1.5 million to be allotted in 2020-21

Four incumbents are back and one longtime former councillor is also back on following the council election in the town of Battleford on Monday.

UPDATE 2 The Dekker Centre is now under a temporary restriction of 30 people in the theatre. This new restriction affects how A Very Prairie Christmas with Jeffery Straker will be presented.

Results are in from Cut Knife in the municipal election. The election went on as scheduled in the town Monday.

Mayor Ryan Bater has conceded the North Battleford mayor’s race and has offered his congratulations to David Gillan on his election victory.

The North Battleford mayor’s race turned ugly during the final few days as vandalism hit the campaign of the incumbent. There were reports over the weekend of extensive damage to a number of signs for Mayor Ryan Bater throughout the community.

There is a big change at the top at City Hall in North Battleford. David Gillan has been elected mayor of North Battleford, easing out incumbent Ryan Bater 1198 to 988 in Monday's municipal election.

From the city: Roadway crews have been removing snow from the City’s priority routes since the morning of Saturday, November 7th.

The North Battleford Part-time Firefighters Association has confirmed their third annual Sandbag Fundraiser is a go. The sandbags are $5 a bag and can be picked up at K&K Glass or delivered within the city limits.
