Voters in Saskatchewan’s 41 resort villages will head to the polls this summer, one month late and two meters apart.

There is one new case of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan to report on June 29, bringing the Saskatchewan total to 779 cases. The new case is located in the Far North region. Of the 779 reported COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan, 87 are considered active.

Submitted Rick Johnston has been selected to be inducted into the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame at the 36th Annual Induction Aug. 15 in Battleford. Johnston was born to a farming family with a passion for baseball.
