Battlefords RCMP are reporting three people are now in custody on drug and weapons charges after pulling a vehicle over on Nov. 26.

Take a drive through the village Christmas lights at the Western Development Museum in North Battleford. They opened their gates Nov. 21 and will be open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. until the first week in January.

If the Yorkton Terriers weren’t in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League the Battlefords North Stars would be undefeated right now. Unfortunately for the North Stars, the Terriers don’t seem in any danger of folding or going out of business.

The Dekker Centre for the Performing Arts has put in its budget request for 2020, just ahead of budget deliberations. Dekker Centre General Manager Kali Weber made her request at Monday’s council meeting.

What seemed like just a normal visit to the Gold Eagle Casino turned into “the best day ever” for Saskatoon resident Debbie Vidal. Vidal ended up hitting the jackpot on the Smoke Signals slot machine she was playing on Monday afternoon.
