The Battlefords Minor Football Bucks have taken the Kinsmen Football League title, winning the title game at Saskatoon Minor Football Field over the Ledingham Steelers 42-28 to win the Pee Wee championship on the weekend.

On Tuesday, Nov. 5, both opposition leader Ryan Meili and education critic Carla Beck were in North Battleford as part of the NDP’s series of town hall meetings in various communities on education.

The Battlefords Boys & Girls Club is one of 10 Canadian respite charities up for a possible $125,000 in a nationwide philanthropic contest.
