Another eventful chuckwagon competition at Battlefords Agricultural Society has come to a close. The most recent Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association event took place in North Battleford May 31, June 1 and June 2.

Submitted CUMBERLAND HOUSE – This fall, Saskatchewan teachers will have a new curriculum resource to shift learning beyond the classroom walls and out on to the land thanks to a new book published by a Cumberland House teacher and her students.

Submitted Tourism Saskatchewan’s annual ExploreSask Photo Contest is officially underway. The contest launch is part of Saskatchewan Tourism Week, celebrated throughout the province from May 26 to June 1.

The Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association tour got underway in North Battleford Friday with a historic heat amongst the action.

A Taste of Culture began Friday and continues Saturday, offering a dozen cultural food experiences, plus entertainment, a market place, silent auction, face painting and balloons. Opening at 11 a.m.

Last week, CBI Health Centre, with help from Lawrence School, Bready School’s Better Together group and the Battlefords Gymnastics Club, undertook an annual food drive for the Battlefords District Food and Resource Centre.
