A recent trip to the grocery store surprised me with a huge display of boxed Amaryllis bulbs shipped directly from Holland at the entrance to the store. These colorful boxes of bulbs promised white, red, pink or bicolor blooms by Christmas time.

Battlefords RCMP are inviting members of the public to town hall meetings in Meota and Cochin. The Meota meeting is slated for Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Meota Community Centre. Cochin rink hall will host the other meeting at 7 p.m.
