The Town of Battleford will not be granting a request from the Twin Rivers Curling Club, operating out of the Northland Power Curling Centre in North Battleford, for an additional $10,000 to help pay their 2016-17 season operating costs.

The Town of Battleford is ordering 112 each of refuse containers and compost containers to add to their inventory. The additional bins will help the town keep up with repairs, replacements and an increased uptake on compost bins.

The City of North Battleford has issued a news release stating that, to help conserve water, the odd-even watering schedule is now in effect.
