Patients requiring renal dialysis will soon have greater access to the life-sustaining care at Battlefords Union Hospital, according to Prairie North Health Region. The region reports the service has expanded to nine chairs from six.

The first numbers have been reported for 2016 building permits in North Battleford, and they are down from a year ago. Numbers for January 2016 are in and there were four permits issued for $235,000 by the City.

Kamsack RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Wayne M. Babiuk of Norquay. Babiuk is wanted on several Criminal Code warrants. Babiuk is possibly armed and considered dangerous. Police say he should not be approached.

Blaine Lake RCMP report that a 22-year-old woman reported missing Monday from Muskeg Lake First Nation has been located and is safe.
