Each year, the All-American Selections organization (www.all-americanselections.org) tests several new, yet-to-be released vegetable and flower varieties in trial gardens across North America including Canada.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 25-year-old Gavin Robert Howe of Maidstone as a result of a traffic stop near Waseca at about 6:25 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.

Battleford RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Eugene Rider, 55, who was reported missing and last seen leaving a residence on Saulteaux First Nation Saturday evening.

Four youth have been arrested after a Battlefords RCMP investigation of break and enters reported at seasonal residences near Cochin Saturday, one of which included arson. Police say the fire in one of the cabins was deliberately set.

A woman has been arrested and charged after Battlefords RCMP issued a request for the public’s help in identifying a person from surveillance footage of a theft from a business on Railway Avenue East Dec. 29.
