There are three new adventures waiting for patrons at the Battlefords Co-op Aquatic Centre - and they are included with the regular admission.

MISCHUK, MICHAEL: The family of Michael announce his passing on July 13, 2013 at Battleford, SK. Michael was born April 2, 1927 to Joe and Dora Mischuk. Mike and Sally (nee Swystun) were married for nearly 62 years.

The Battlefords Agricultural Society's Northwest Territorial Days is fondly known as "the fair" to most, the "exhibition" to some and, to the uninitiated or new to town, "the ex." The 126th annual fair begins with the parade on Monday, Aug. 12.

There was a motor vehicle accident Friday afternoon at the entrance to Sobeys. The call came in at around 4:02 p.m., according to North Battleford Fire. Two vehicles were involved in the collision on Territorial Drive right at the Sobeys entrance.
