Massett takes top place in 90th annual bonspiel

The 90th annual Men's Open Bonspiel held in North Battleford March 21 to 24 attracted 28 rinks with the top prize going to a local rink skipped by Barry Massett.

The Saskatchewan 4-H northwest regional public speaking competitions were held in Blaine Lake March 23. District 29, consisting of Borden Light Horse, Crown Hill Beef and Sask Valley Dairy clubs, hosted the event.

The Grade 4 -6 students from Marsden Jubilee School had a great time on their ski trip to Table Mountain Feb. 9. The day started with an early bus ride to the hill, followed by group ski lessons.
