Associate Royal Lady Judy Herperl conducted the St. Walburg Royal Purple March meeting with 19 members attending. The annual district meeting was be held in North Battleford April 7.

A man facing several firearms and threat-related charges will return to court March 26. Arlo McDermott, 29, is charged in connection to an incident at a home near North Battleford Sunday at around 4:20 a.m.

McLurg High School hosted a local science fair March 14. This is an event that occurs every year in the school and is open to all students from Grade 7 to12. This year 49 projects with 87 participants were entered.
