Ed, my neighbour next door, found he and Ruby had a house full of company Thanksgiving weekend. Ruby's sister and family showed up completely unexpectedly from Quebec. Ruby's sister, Ruth, never gives notice they are coming.

People head home for Thanksgiving supper

By now everyone will have had their Thanksgiving and will have consumed at least one turkey over the holiday. Rabbit Lake had its annual harvest supper Oct. 6 at the community hall. About 300 people enjoyed a home-cooked meal and great fellowship.
