A woman, who has gone missing from Blaine Lake Care Home, was last seen Friday, Jan. 27 at about 1:30 p.m. Rose Brass, age 31, left the care home that day at about 12:15 p.m. and waslast seen at GasPlus in Blaine Lake.

The forth draw of the New Horizons spring curling season was completed Jan. 24. The Rogers rink is leading after winning all of their games. Close behind are Gordey, Hall and Scott, who all have only one loss.

North Battleford council has given its stamp of approval to the establishment of 58 bus stops as part of the overhaul of the city's transit system. The bus stops were approved Jan. 23.

For the first time this season, the Battlefords AAA Sharks scored more than two goals in a game, unfortunately the Prince Albert Bears doubled them for an 8-4 win Wednesday.

There was cause for celebration at Battleford Town Council Jan. 23, as the Town gave awards to employees and volunteers for long records of service. Twelve volunteers and employees earned awards for service.

City council has given a public vote of support to the Chapel Gallery and Allen Sapp Gallery in their current form.

Work slowly but surely continues on the CUplex, with "slowly" emerging the right word when it comes to the theatre component.
