A pleasant spring seems to be leading into a nice summer. The vivid green of the foliage in the west valley is very appealing to the eye. One enjoys walking there, noticing the young birds growing up.

Dumpster fires still a headache

Dumpster fires continue to be a headache and a nuisance for North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services. The latest incident took place around 3:43 p.m. on Friday on the 100 block of Canola Avenue.

Vehicle fire on 95th Street

North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services responded to a vehicle fire at the back of a building on the 1400 block of 95th Street. The call came in at around 11:40 a.m. Sunday.

Starting at 6:30 a.m. today. Barricades will be set up on 101st Street between 11th Avenue and 12th Avenue. The Department of Public Works and Engineering will be conducting a service repair. Traffic will be blocked off for most of the day.
