Celebrating the important role of archives and archivists in preserving the history of our province, Saskatchewan will be celebrating the sixth annual Archives Week, Feb. 6 to 11.

The Legion Ladies' Auxiliary No. 142 held their monthly meeting at the Legion Hall Tuesday evening. Plans were finalized for Jack Bullock's 100th birthday celebration Feb. 9 from 2 to 4 p.m.

Kinsmen Aquatic Centre reopened Monday evening after a carbon monoxide scare forced staff and patrons from the building Saturday. Concerns were raised about an unusual odour in the building at about 10:15 a.m.

A passenger vehicle is a total loss following a fire about 12 kilometres east of North Battleford on Highway 40. The incident happened at around 10:45 p.m. Sunday.
