The chemistry may not be there yet among the Battlefords North Stars players, but overall they didn't look too bad Saturday in the season opener against Kindersley.

Dates have been set for a hearing that will determine whether Michael Jon Duperron will receive dangerous offender status. A hearing on the Crown's dangerous offender application has been set for May 2 to 4, 2011 in North Battleford Provincial Court.

A 17-year-old accused of stabbing another youth in an incident at the skatepark during the evening of Sept. 3 has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. The plea was entered in provincial court in North Battleford Thursday morning.

"The Call," or "The Punt," or whatever you want to call it, is something that will be debated by football fans in this province for a long time to come.
