Mission accomplished. Humboldt and the surrounding district reached their goal of raising $100,000 for the Humboldt District Hospital Foundation (HDHF) in just three and a half days, in order to leverage another $100,000 out of PotashCorp Lanigan.

The season has ended for the boys of winter. The Humboldt Broncos closed the season last weekend after falling to the Yorkton Terriers in Games 5 and 6 of the SJHL final series. Head Coach Dean Brockman said the defeat was disheartening for the team.
