Highways crews were out fixing a portion of Hwy. 5 eight kilometres west of Humboldt last week. The section of road was flooded last summer, built up last fall, and covered with a temporary pavement that seems to be deteriorating this spring.

It's round and round we go at the intersection of Hwys 5 and 20.

The peak seems to have passed when it comes to runoff heading into Waldsea, Deadmoose and Houghton lakes north of Humboldt.
