Chad Patrick Thompson1978 - 2011It is with profound sadness that the family of Chad Patrick Thompson of St. Gregor announces his sudden and unexpected death at his residence on Monday, April 4, 2011. He was 33 years of age.

Duffers rejoice: assuming this warmer weather continues, the Humboldt Golf Club (HGC) should be open for business on May 1.

Domestic violence. Two words that are not pretty, not just in how they sound, but in the images they conjure. Spousal abuse. Child abuse. Battery. Assault. Those are even uglier words. They go with the others hand in hand.

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Mrs. Angela Cecelia Thoms on Friday, April 1, 2011 at her residence, St. Mary's Villa Humboldt at the age of 90 years.

They haven't decided which path to take, but they have been given input to help make that decision.

About 130 hopeful young hockey players descended on the Humboldt Uniplex last weekend, making their best pitch to wear the green and gold next season. Humboldt Broncos spring evaluation camp took place from April 8-10 at the Elgar Petersen Arena.

A 34-year-old man from Humboldt has been charged with the attempted murder of his wife. On April 7, at approximately 5:30 p.m.
